About this site
YKit is a small, independent collection of text utilities. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — there are no accounts, no uploads, and no server-side processing of your text.
Why we built this
Everyday text tasks — cleaning pasted text, removing duplicate list items, counting characters against a limit — are poorly served for many languages. Online tools often require sign-up or file uploads, and mishandle accents, non-Latin scripts or emoji.
We build small tools that do one job correctly, show their counting rules openly, and never silently rewrite your text.
Principles
Local first: your input is processed in your browser and never sent to a server.
Verifiable: before/after previews and explicit counting rules, so you can check the result.
Optional changes only: nothing is rewritten unless you choose the rule.
Multilingual: each language version is written for that language, not machine-swapped navigation.
