How to use it

  1. Pick your currency — it defaults to your language’s region (USD, CNY, SAR) but you can switch to any of the ten listed.
  2. Enter an amount and choose the period it belongs to: hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or annual.
  3. Set your work schedule — hours per week, days per week and weeks per year. The defaults (40 / 5 / 52, i.e. 2,080 hours a year) cover a standard full-time job; change them to match your situation.
  4. All equivalent rates appear the moment you type — no button to press. The hourly rate is shown first.
  5. Use Clear to empty the amount and reset the currency and schedule to the defaults.
  6. Copy any rate, or download all five as a plain-text file.

Example

Input

Amount: 52000
Period: Annual
Hours/week: 40
Days/week: 5
Weeks/year: 52

Result

Hourly rate: $25.00
Daily: $200.00
Weekly: $1,000.00
Monthly: $4,333.33
Annual: $52,000.00

With an annual salary of 52,000, a 40-hour week, a 5-day week and 52 weeks a year, your hourly rate is 25. The currency and number format follow your page language: 52,000 in CNY shows ¥52,000.00, and Arabic shows ٥٢٬٠٠٠٫٠٠ ر.س.

Rules, limits and known issues

  • Only five standard periods are supported — hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and annual. Bi-weekly, semi-monthly, quarterly or half-yearly pay periods are not handled here.
  • The result is a gross (pre-tax) conversion. Income tax, social insurance, housing fund and take-home pay are not calculated — enter the pre-tax figure.
  • The schedule uses three parameters only (hours per week, days per week, weeks per year). Paid leave, public holidays, overtime and benefits are not factored in, because they would change the effective rate and clutter the main path.
  • The currency list covers ten common codes (USD, EUR, CNY, GBP, JPY, SAR, INR, AUD, CAD, BRL). For a rare currency, pick the nearest one; cross-currency exchange is not part of this tool.
  • Decimal places and the currency symbol come from your browser’s number formatting (Intl): JPY shows no decimals, USD/CNY show two, and Arabic uses Arabic-Indic digits — so the same number looks different per language.
  • Nothing is uploaded, stored or written to the URL: no history, no share link carrying your numbers, no remote call.
