Meeting timezone planner

Find the hours that work for everyone — with the best slots decided, not just a grid.

Work hours

Best times

How to use it

  1. The planner opens on tomorrow with a 60-minute meeting and three cities. The best three start times appear immediately, with how many participants are inside work hours.
  2. The first row is you; add up to five more participants from the zone list, or change a row’s zone. Remove a participant with ×. The shared work hours (09:00–17:00 by default) apply to everyone.
  3. Click a suggested time or change the start-time dropdown — the grid highlights the meeting and updates each participant’s local time. Copy puts every local time on your clipboard.

Example

Input

You in Shanghai · New York · Berlin
Tue, Oct 27, 2026 · 60 min · work hours 09:00–17:00

Output

Best times: 21:00 (2/3) · 19:00 (1/3) · 20:00 (1/3)
21:00–22:00
Shanghai 21:00
New York 09:00
Berlin 14:00

Times follow the browser’s time-zone data. On this date New York is on daylight time and Berlin is already on standard time, so a DST change can move the overlap by an hour.

Rules, limits and known issues

  • One work-hours window for everyone. Per-person schedules (say 10–19 for one colleague) are not supported — Koalendar is a better fit for that.
  • No holidays, religious days or company days off. The weekend hint follows the page language (Saturday–Sunday in English and Chinese, Friday–Saturday in Arabic) and weekends vary by country.
  • Up to six participants. Three rows are the default and fit the first screen on a phone; five or six rows may need a little scrolling on a 375 px wide screen.
  • Nothing is saved: the date, cities, work hours and selected slot live in memory only. Reloading returns to the language defaults — no account, no storage.
  • No calendar access, no invitations, no .ics export. The tool does not know who is actually free.
  • One day at a time and hourly starts only: no 09:30 slot, no side-by-side week view.
  • No overnight work windows. Night means a local start before 07:00 or a local end after 22:00.
  • Time-zone rules come from the browser and the clock is your device clock — there is no server sync, so two browsers with different tzdata versions can differ.
